New Rathinirvedam is the remake of the film with same name released in 1978 directed by Bharathan and written by Padmarajan. The director TK Rajiv Kumar said that the Rathinirvedam 2011 will be on the same story line the original lied on with the feature rich support of latest film technology.
Rathinirvedam tells the story of a boy Pappu who falls in love with a lady named Rathi and the consequence of their affair continues the story. The film was featured with hot clips of Jayabharathi in Rathinirvedam original and the same tale is expected to happen in the latest Rathinirvedam with the role of Rathi Chechi expected to bring some hot scenes of Swetha in Rathinirvedam.
